Anna Kondaurov

Piano

Anna has been playing piano for over twelve years. She is an alumni of the Phoenix Conservatory of Music where she studied classical piano. She loves playing and instructing a variety of piano styles ranging from classical to contemporary. She began instructing piano privately in 2015, and looks forward to being able to continue her passion for teaching with Rhapsody Music.

Anna has also been apart of several bands and enjoys composing music. She is currently working towards becoming a certified music therapist who uses the dynamic, expressive abilities of music as an empowering tool for helping others.

Ray Goodwin

Piano, Guitar, Bass, Violin, & Ukulele

Ray Goodwin is an established multi-instrumentalist who teaches Guitar, Piano, and Violin at Rhapsody School of Music. Ray graduated from the acclaimed Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, California, in 1994. Shortly thereafter, Ray completed the Music Theory program taught at the University of Wisconsin. Ray has been teaching guitar, piano, and violin, in the Valley since 2001, and has been working in bands for over 20+ years.


Ray’s bands have opened for many international acts, including Slipknot, Disturbed, and Dragonforce. Ray is currently the lead guitarist/violinist in the rock/metal band (SIC)MONIC, published by Warner Chappell Inc., and is distributed worldwide. Ray has a full endorsement by Jackson/Fender guitars.


Note that Ray teaches exclusively through virtual lessons and not in person.


Sarah Lucas-Page

Piano, Woodwinds, & Ukulele

Sarah is an award-winning composer in Arizona and has been performing and making music for almost her entire life. She initially fell in love with music when she started playing clarinet at age 9. Since then, she has been performing in concert bands, chamber ensembles, and as a soloist. Sarah is a multi-instrumentalist; and can also play the flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, piano, and ukulele. She currently is attending Arizona State University to complete her undergrad degree in composition, she graduates in May 2023.



Sarah has worked with groups all over Arizona to create beautiful and inspiring music. She was commissioned by the West Valley Youth Orchestra in 2020 to create a string ensemble piece with a solo string quartet for their 2020 summer camp (the premiere of the piece was pushed to 2021 because of COVID-19). Sarah Has also been a participant in the Fresh Inc. Festival 2021 where DREAMERS (string quartet) was commissioned. Her latest work includes a clarinet quartet that she was commissioned to write for the International Clarinet Association conference in 2022. 


As a younger musician, Sarah was the drum major at Valley Vista high school for two years and was selected for many top honor bands. She also performed with the Phoenix Youth Symphony chamber winds and symphonic winds. She is now a collegiate soloist and has performed all over Arizona. She recently performed Blue Shades by Frank Ticheli and was the featured clarinet soloist for the ASU Wind Symphony.

Sydney Affeldt

Piano, Flute, & Voice

Although new to the field, Sydney has been learning and making music since 2010. She began her musical journey by playing the flute in the band and singing in the choir at Terramar Academy of the Arts. She joined Sandra Day O’Connor High School's award-winning marching band to play the flute and tuba. Her dedication and passion for music led her to Glendale Community College to pursue a bachelor’s degree in music education.


While attending Glendale Community College, Sydney honed her skills in flute, tuba, voice, and piano. Now, she is eager to start her teaching journey here at Rhapsody Music. She hopes to inspire future generations with a love for learning music, just as her teachers and instructors once inspired her.
