Mike Tuttle
General Manager & Brass Instructor
Mike Tuttle has been playing and/or teaching trumpet for the better part of 40 years. Mike cut his teeth musically in the rich musical culture of Seattle Wa. He received his Bachelor of Arts in music education from Central Washington University and then spent the next 13 years building an award winning high school band program at Meadowdale High School in Edmonds Washington. Mike enjoys the full performance palette available to the trumpet: Whether a Gustav Holst Composition, Screaming away on a Big Band Lead trumpet part, or jammin’ on some blues.
He has performed in a number big bands, a variety of musical orchestras and even had a chance to perform on stage with Doc Severinson. His main passion, however, is his opportunity to share his love of music with younger students through teaching. Currently, Mike has students performing and teaching all across the country and even internationally. His goal is to create an outstanding music opportunity here in the Anthem community.
