
Mike Tuttle
General Manager & Brass Instructor
Mike Tuttle has been playing and/or teaching trumpet for the better part of 40 years. Mike cut his teeth musically in the rich musical culture of Seattle Wa. He received his Bachelor of Arts in music education from Central Washington University and then spent the next 13 years building an award winning high school band program at Meadowdale High School in Edmonds Washington. Mike enjoys the full performance palette available to the trumpet: Whether a Gustav Holst Composition, Screaming away on a Big Band Lead trumpet part, or jammin’ on some blues.
He has performed in a number big bands, a variety of musical orchestras and even had a chance to perform on stage with Doc Severinson. His main passion, however, is his opportunity to share his love of music with younger students through teaching. Currently, Mike has students performing and teaching all across the country and even internationally. His goal is to create an outstanding music opportunity here in the Anthem community.

Aleia Tuttle
Voice
Aleia has always surrounded herself in anything music. Born in Seattle, Washington, where the music scene is huge, she started music classes as early as preschool. Kindergarten - Fifth grade she was involved in the choir classes and school musicals as a young age. Middle school gave the first true choir experience with a three section mixed choir. In 7th grade, she was selected for a state-wide Honor Choir with music from all over the world. After moving to Arizona in 8th grade, Aleia was a 4 year member of the award-winning Boulder Creek High School Choir Program. She played a major part in Clue the Musical her junior year, staring as Ms. Scarlet. During her senior year of high school, she participated in the top three choirs and student-taught a fourth. This choir experience throughout her entire life, asking with being raised by Mike Tuttle, brought knowledge of proper tonality, music theory, and advanced stylistic methods.
While at NAU she participated in the top a capella group as a freshman. All the music was student written by the seniors majoring in music composition. She also performed the solo for their arrangement of Lady Gaga's Shallow. This was part of the set they competed with at the 2019 ICCA competition where they took 3rd place, two points from reaching the semi- finals.
Recently, Aleia her band, SOS (comprised of other instructors: Mason King, Nicolas Desilva and Dylan Soto), reached the semi-finals of Alice Cooper's band competition. Rhapsody was represented with FOUR young bands at this competition.
Aleia has been a vocal instructor at Rhapsody Music for 6 years and an integral part of the Rhapsody band programs. She loves sharing her passions for vocal performance and working with students of all ages eager to learn more about their own voice.

Anna Kondaurov

Anna has been playing piano for over twelve years. She is an alumni of the Phoenix Conservatory of Music where she studied classical piano. She loves playing and instructing a variety of piano styles ranging from classical to contemporary. She began instructing piano privately in 2015, and looks forward to being able to continue her passion for teaching with Rhapsody Music.
Anna has also been apart of several bands and enjoys composing music. She is currently working towards becoming a certified music therapist who uses the dynamic, expressive abilities of music as an empowering tool for helping others.

Dr . David Fattu
Strings
Dr. David Fattu is a native Arizonan who was born in Page, grew up in Glendale, and currently resides in New River. As a young musician he was an active participant in the music programs of Peoria Unified School District including marching band (trumpet/drum major), jazz band (bass guitar), symphonic band (String Bass/student conductor), and chamber choir. As he began his studies at Arizona State University in Instrumental Music Education, he became involved in different performing ensembles and organizations including the ASU Symphony Band, ASU Symphonic Orchestra, ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, the Music Educators’ National Conference, and the American String Teachers’ Association (VP of Student Chapter).
After student teaching with high school band at Centennial H.S. and elementary string orchestra at Shaw Butte E.S., Dr. Fattu started his professional career as a 5th-8th grade band director in Peoria USD. Three years later, he founded the Peoria District String Orchestra to give students across the district the opportunity to play in an orchestral strings ensemble. Dr. Fattu worked in different staff development positions in Peoria USD before moving towards a career in higher education instructional design. Currently, Dr. Fattu is the Director of Academic Services & Technology with a private higher education consulting company, Synergis Education.
Throughout his professional career in education, Dr. Fattu has had the privilege to offer private music lessons in string bass, cello, violin, viola, and bass guitar. This extra ‘gig’ started after graduation from ASU in 1996 and continues to provide Dr. Fattu with a source of professional satisfaction and joy working with students of all ages and skill levels. While Dr. Fattu has seen many of his students go on to study music at the university level, it is a strong sense of love and appreciation for the art of music performance that is his ultimate goal for all students.

Dylan Soto
Guitar, Bass, & Ukulele
Dylan Soto grew up in Arizona and has been playing guitar since he was 7 years old. When he was 10, he joined the Standing Stones worship team as the lead guitarist. During this time, he also learned bass guitar and drums. Dylan went to high school at Boulder Creek where he was in the advanced guitar class, honor choir, and also show choir.
After high school Dylan went to Australia to study music for a year at Hillsong College where he was the chief sound engineer for the Greater West Campus.
Upon his return to the States, Dylan was entrusted with leadership roles at Standing Stones Church, Discovery Pointe Church, and Palmcroft Church further developing his musical journey.
Dylan also loves to perform live and has been seen playing streetmosphere gigs outside of the Diamondback, Cardinals and Phoenix Suns games as well as concerts all around the Valley.
Now, with over a decade of songwriting under his belt, Dylan has released his debut album, "My Desire," as a testament to his unwavering passion for music.

Hagen Harris
Low Brass
Hagen Harris has been involved in music in the Anthem area since 2015. He has been playing Tuba primarily for 6 years, with 4 years in the Boulder Creek High School Marching Band, 2 years in Wind Ensemble, and 3 years in the Jazz Band playing Bass Trombone. He spent a summer season in 2024 with The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps playing Contra, touring the country and performing for judges and crowds. After that season, he also marched as a member of LINEA Indoor Percussion Ensemble on Cymbals, and he is currently marching at Breakthrough Indoor Percussion, a top 15 WGI Open Class group.
Hagen is working towards a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. His DCI and WGI marching experience primarily shaped the way he views sound and musicality when playing a brass instrument, and sparked even further passion for teaching and learning. In his spare time, he enjoys playing bass guitar in a few Rhapsody Rock Bands, and teaching the cymbal line at Horizon High School's Indoor Percussion Ensemble.

Marah Armenta
Voice
Marah is a well-known vocalist throughout the greater Phoenix area. She is a native Arizonan, but no stranger to traveling out of state regularly for live and studio jobs.
Marah is most recently known as the current singer of Arizona's Hip-Hop band, The Stakes, and also the other half of LuMar, a dynamic duo that revives any chart topper into a soulful blend of Jazz and R&B.

Sarah Lucas-Page

Sarah is an award-winning composer in Arizona and has been performing and making music for almost her entire life. She initially fell in love with music when she started playing clarinet at age 9. Since then, she has been performing in concert bands, chamber ensembles, and as a soloist. Sarah is a multi-instrumentalist; and can also play the flute, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone, piano, and ukulele. She currently is attending Arizona State University to complete her undergrad degree in composition, she graduates in May 2023.
Sarah has worked with groups all over Arizona to create beautiful and inspiring music. She was commissioned by the West Valley Youth Orchestra in 2020 to create a string ensemble piece with a solo string quartet for their 2020 summer camp (the premiere of the piece was pushed to 2021 because of COVID-19). Sarah Has also been a participant in the Fresh Inc. Festival 2021 where DREAMERS (string quartet) was commissioned. Her latest work includes a clarinet quartet that she was commissioned to write for the International Clarinet Association conference in 2022.
As a younger musician, Sarah was the drum major at Valley Vista high school for two years and was selected for many top honor bands. She also performed with the Phoenix Youth Symphony chamber winds and symphonic winds. She is now a collegiate soloist and has performed all over Arizona. She recently performed Blue Shades by Frank Ticheli and was the featured clarinet soloist for the ASU Wind Symphony.
Note that Sarah teaches exclusively through virtual lessons and not in person.

Sydney Affeldt
Flute & Voice
Although new to the field, Sydney has been learning and making music since 2010. She began her musical journey by playing the flute in the band and singing in the choir at Terramar Academy of the Arts. She joined Sandra Day O’Connor High School's award-winning marching band to play the flute and tuba. Her dedication and passion for music led her to Glendale Community College to pursue a bachelor’s degree in music education.
While attending Glendale Community College, Sydney honed her skills in flute, tuba, voice, and piano. Now, she is eager to start her teaching journey here at Rhapsody Music. She hopes to inspire future generations with a love for learning music, just as her teachers and instructors once inspired her.

Todd Irrer
Guitar, Bass, & Ukulele
Todd began playing guitar at age 12 and studied at Marshall Music from ages 14 to 17. Throughout high school, he played in bands and went on to attend Lansing Community College as a music major, where he also began teaching and performing.
From 1988 to 1994, Todd toured throughout the Midwest and South with various bands. He moved to Arizona in 1996 and has been an active part of the local music scene ever since.
Todd currently performs with several groups including Moonshine Voodoo Band, AZZ Top, Almost Folsom, and the American Highwaymen.
